Request rubbish and recycling bins for new-build properties

When new build properties are built within the borough of Bury, the builder or property developer is responsible for ordering and purchasing rubbish and recycling bins for each new home prior to occupancy.

For individual houses and housing estates 240 litre bins should be ordered in sets, as a suite.

For flats and apartments, where larger communal bins are needed, an assessment should be requested so that we can carry out a site visit to assess the number and size of bins required.
