Bury Council is committed to enhancing the economic performance of our town centres in developing and sustaining a strong local economy.

Business Networks and Town Teams work to:

  • promote the needs of local businesses and improve the business environment in our town centres
  • provide effective communication with the Council and other organisations
  • improve opportunities to raise the profile of town centre business through co-ordinated marketing and promotional initiatives including special events to increase footfall in each town centre

The Bury Means Business website introduces a number of business networking opportunities, in Bury and across Greater Manchester.

Radcliffe Business Group / Town Team

Radcliffe Business Group, established in 2007, promotes the town and organises a regular programme of events to raise the profile of Radcliffe.

More recently they have brought together members of the community to develop a "Town Team". The key aim is to develop an action plan to bring forward their vision to re-Fresh, re-Connect and re-Launch Radcliffe Town Centre, assisted by Government Portas pilot funding, and linking with the implementation of ongoing regeneration proposals in the town.

If you wish to get involved with the Town Team, please contact Eugene O' Donnell (New Button Garment Alterations) sales@newbutton.co.uk or call 0161 724 5364.

Ramsbottom Business Group
