Parking fines issued by the council are called Penalty Charge Notices. NSL Services Ltd provide parking enforcement for council car parks and on street parking on behalf of Bury Council.

The current parking Penalty Charge Notice fee is either £50.00 or £70.00. If you pay within 14 days this is reduced by half to £25.00 or £35.00.

You can pay now using a debit or credit card. You will need the Penalty Charge Notice number (the 10 digit number that starts with BC) and the registration number of your vehicle.

Debit and credit card payments can be made by phone on 0344-870-5545 (24 hour access).

Payments and appeals

You can appeal against a Penalty Charge Notice.

If you appeal within 14 days of the issue of the notice, and your appeal is unsuccessful, you will be given a further 14 days to pay at the discounted rate.

If you pay your parking notice whilst your appeal is being considered, your case will be closed and this will bring the appeals process to an end.
