Property bidding information

You should only bid for properties that are suitable to your circumstances, for example:

  • a single person will not be considered for a property with more than 1 bedroom
  • a large family will not be considered for a property that would make them overcrowded.

All bids are checked once the closing date has passed. Due to the number of bids we receive, only the successful applicant will be notified.

Properties will be let to applicants who are registered and have the highest priority need. Adapted properties are let to applicants who apply, require the adaptations and have the highest priority.

If you're offered a property, we will not consider your expressions of interest for any other properties until you have let us know whether or not you want to accept the property offered.

You will only be offered one suitable accommodation. Please do not bid on a property that you do not want.

If you refuse a suitable offer of accommodation, your application will be reassessed and this may result in your application being removed from our housing register.
