Renew library items
Once you have joined a library and have a library card and password you can reserve books, check your loans and renew items by logging into your library account via the library catalogue. If you need help in doing this see our library catalogue help pages. If you'd like to set up email alerts to remind you to renew your loans then also see our library catalogue help - other features page.
Providing an item has not been reserved by another borrower, you can renew online or by telephone three consecutive times before you have to take your loan(s) to a library to renew in person.
Renew online via the library catalogue. You will need your library card and password to log into your account.
Renew your items by phone. Call any library to do this.

We charge for the late return of items. People under 16 and over 65 are exempt from fines on books.
