What is a travel plan?
A travel plans is a package of measures and initiatives which help encourage the use of sustainable travel modes and aim to reduce the number of single occupancy car journeys.
A travel plan does not have to be 'anti-car' but can encourage you to be more thoughtful and selective over which modes of travel you choose. Using public transport, cycling or walking can help reduce congestion, increase your health and help the environment. The most effective travel plans are ones that are tailored to meet specific requirements.
