What to do if you receive a Penalty Charge Notice
We have issued the notice for the following reason(s).
- You did not display your disabled parking badge correctly. (We must be able to see your badge from outside the car, with the serial number and expiry date clearly in view).
- You did not display your time clock with your disabled parking badge.
- We could not see your time clock clearly - as it was partly covered by your disabled parking badge.
- You were parked on a set of yellow lines for more than three hours. (You are allowed to park for three hours only).
- You were parked outside a designated bay. (Parking in a Bury Metro Council car park is only free to disabled drivers who park in the clearly marked disabled bays).

- You were parked in an area where there is no free disabled parking.
What you need to do if this is your first penalty notice
If this is the first time you have received a penalty charge notice for this disabled parking badge, don't worry. We will cancel the notice if you:
- Send us the penalty notice, along with a photocopy of your disabled parking badge showing the serial number and expiry date.

If this is not your first penalty notice:
- If you have already had one or more penalty notice(s) while using this disabled parking badge, we may not cancel this one. You need to pay us the amount shown on your notice.
