Information on MOT Testing provided by Bury Council
Bury Council's Vehicle Workshop is accredited to provide independent MOT testing and certification direct to the general public and businesses, for the following vehicle types:
- Class IV (cars) - £48.00
- Class 7- (vehicles between 3000kgs and 3500kgs Gross Vehicle Weight) - £56.75.
We also carry out taxi testing and testing of singular items such as brakes and headlight alignment. Our facility is a non-repair testing station and we employ 5 qualified testers. Free re-tests are available within 14 days of a test.

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
Note: Last MOT/taxi test 1 hour before closing.
