The Countryside Rangers organise a wide variety of events throughout the Borough.
These events aim to get people out into Bury’s countryside and to enjoy themselves, perhaps learning a little along the way.

Here is a list of some of the types of events on offer.
- Guided walks, taking in some of Bury’s beautiful scenic countryside
- Learn how to identify trees in winter
- Night time bat walk
- Large scale fun day events where there are a range of craft and woodcraft activities and demonstrations
Children’s activities including:
- pond dipping;
- minibeast safaris;
- mask making; and
- Easter egg decorating.
