Friends of Burrs are a group of local people who have an input into what happens within Burrs Country Park and are supported by The Countryside Service.
The group meet formally twice a year to discuss management plans for the site and receive updates on particular projects and events. In addition a bi-annual newsletter is produced, and there are a range of practical tasks, activities and illustrated talks and guided walks organised to increase and enhance local understanding and knowledge of the area.
Everyone is welcome to join the Friends of Burrs, and the activities and events are open to all.

Meetings
Meetings of the 'friends group' are usually organised twice yearly in April and September.
