Bury Council's Heritage Strategy was approved by the Council's Executive Committee on 11 April 2002. It's purpose is to identify and celebrate key components of the Borough's heritage resource and to bring forward practical policy measures to implement the preservation and enhancement of this important asset.
There are two versions posted on this website of the heritage strategy. The full version contains graphics, tables, pictures, drawings and photographs; the other is a text only version. The full version is large in size and therefore will take longer to download. However, a copy of the heritage strategy is available at the Planning Office and all local libraries.
