Using Oxford Reference Online within Bury MBC Libraries
If you are using the Internet within one of the libraries you can jump directly to the Oxford Reference Online search screen, type in the word you're looking for, and then click on the "Go" button. On screen help is available, but a member of staff will be on hand to offer assistance.
Using Oxford Reference Online outside Bury MBC Libraries
If you have Internet access at home, school, college or the office and you're a Bury MBC Libraries member, you can access the database by:
- going to the Oxford Reference Online home page
- on the right of the screen, below the words "Library card number", type in the word "BURY" followed by your library card number, with no spaces between the word "BURY" and the library card number and click on the "LOG IN" button.
You should now be at the search screen. If you need help please use the on screen help facility at the top right of the screen. Should you require further assistance, or if you would like to join the library to take advantage of this service, then please contact your nearest library.
