Ramsbottom centre facilities
Ramsbottom Library lends books, videos, DvDs and talking books for adults.
There are 12 public computers available for pre booking or drop in use. Computers are free to use for a maximum of 1 hour per day, with Internet access, Microsoft Office applications and networked CD Roms available. Access to computers and the Internet is free of charge so booking in advance is advisable. Please telephone 0161 253 5354 to make a booking.
- Library staff are able to offer a ‘Get You Started’ course on Friday mornings. The course gives a basic introduction to setting up an email account and using the internet. These must be booked in advance.
Ramsbottom Library is also an outlet for the publications for sale from Reference and Information Services and book tokens.

Children's Centre
Ramsbottom Library and Adult Learning Centre is also a designated Children's Centre. The aim of the Children's Centre is to provide a family community hub which brings together services which will help every child in the area to receive the opportunity for the best possible start in life. The centre offers a warm welcoming atmosphere and easy access to quality childcare, early learning opportunities, health, post and anti-natal support and other family support services. For example baby massage and baby signing.

For readers:
'Rhyme Time' session for under 5's on Tuesdays 2.00 - 2.30pm and Thursday 10.00 - 10.30pm.
