Moorside Community Library

Moorside Community Library was set up in partnership with the Parish of St. John with St. Mark and is a small but active library situated in the church hall. There are books and videos for all ages there are two public access computers for customers to use free of charge. On each computer there is the full Microsoft Office suite of applications including Word for Windows, Access for databases, Excel spreadsheets etc. Access to computers and the Internet is free of charge so booking in advance is advisable. Please telephone on the number below to make a booking.

There is a toy library and the Library and Church run the weekly ABC Club (adults, babies and children) which provides fun and games for the under fives. Every month older people can join in the activities of the Library Club which provides lunch and entertainment free of charge (please contact The Social Inclusion Unit for dates).
