Celebrate with Bury Venues

We have had the pleasure of hosting wedding receptions and family celebrations for over twenty one years. With this wealth of experience we can make sure your wedding or special occasion will be one to remember for all the right reasons. From advice on the food, reception drinks and all the special touches that make an event so memorable.

Whether it be for a few hundred people or a small party, our aim is to ensure that the hosts and their guests enjoy the occasion. Our motto is "First time, every time" and to make sure this happens you will have your own event coordinator who will be at hand to help you plan the event and ensure everything goes smoothly on the day.

Choosing the venue

We offer a selection of attractive suties, each with a choice of rooms which complement small celebrations, large scale dinners and parties.

For those special touches

We want your reception or occasion to look good, so we liaise closely with you to ensure table decorations, including flowers, coordinate with your chosen colour scheme.

The wedding breakfast

A comprehensive selection of special packages, dinner and buffet menus, ensure there is something for all tastes and budgets. Listed below are a selection of suggested menus to help you. If you wish to substitute any of the items, our experienced team will be delighted to help you create your perfect menu.

Menu 1 - £22 per head

Cream of wild mushroom soup infused with coriander
Fillet of chicken stuffed with spinach and ricotta served with a rich white wine, cream and herb sauce
Chef's selection of potatoes and market garden vegetables
Traditional sherry trifle
Selection of cheeses
Freshly brewed coffee and mints

Menu 2 - £22 per head

Rustic vegetable soup
Roast sirloin of beef and Yorkshire pudding with horseradish sauce and roast gravy
Chef's selection of potatoes and market garden vegetables
Summer fruit pudding (wild summer berries soaked in Cassis)
Selection of cheeses
Freshly brewed coffee and mints

Menu 3 - £19 per head

Pearls of tropical melon with orange segments laced with Cointreau
Roast leg of lamb with rosemary and garlic, served with mint and redcurrant gravy
Chef's selection of potatoes and market garden vegetables
Profiteroles and hot chocolate sauce
Freshly brewed coffee and mints

Menu 4 - £19 per head

Chicken liver and mushroom pate served on mixed leaves with melba toast
Roast loin of pork fillet with apple sauce and thickened pan juices
Chef's selection of potatoes and market garden vegetables
Dutch apple pie and cream
Freshly brewed coffee and mints

Drinks

Drinks package 1. £6.50 per head
On arrival - A glass of sweet or dry sherry or fresh orange juice
To accompany your meal - two glasses of red or white house wine
For the toast - a glass of sparkling house wine

Drinks package 2. £8 per head
On arrival - a glass of sparkling wine, bucks fizz, sherry or fresh orange juice
To accompany your meal - half a bottle of a choice of house red or white wines
For the toast - a glass of sparkling house wine

Drinks package 3. £9.50 per head
On arrival - a glass of Pimms, bucks fizz, sherry or fresh orange juice
To accompany your meal - half a bottle of a choice of house red or white wines
For the toast - a glass of house Champagne

Combine any of the above drinks packages with the suggested wedding packages and we will reduce the overall price by 50p per head.
