The annual Powersound competition, organised by Bury Venues and Bury Youth Services, offers contestants the opportunity to try out performing live on stage in front of an audience and is open to amateur bands aged 11 to 24 years and amateur singers aged 11 to 21 years.
Tune-up for Powersound 2009
It’s time for bands and singers to get tuned-up and warmed-up for this year's event.
The contest is judged over a number of weeks by a panel of judges. Contestants are required to get through their heats to earn a place in the final and a chance to win cash prizes and win Powersound 2009.
