Bury Council offers work experience through two routes. Work experience can be undertaken generally across the Local Authority and specifically within Adult Care Services.
General work experience

Adult Care work experience (for 14 - 19 year olds)
Adult Care Services is one of the departments within Bury Council and have their own work experience programme for school children and students. Adult Care Services provides quality care and support to vulnerable adults within Bury including older people, people with a disability or learning disability and people with a mental health illness.
A work experience placement within adult care services will give you the opportunity to work within a social care role within a social care environment and learn about the opportunities available to you in the future within Adult Care Services.
