Safeguarding Adults policy
The Strategic Housing Unit is committed to work in partnership with other agencies and departments within the council. The Safeguarding Adults policy introduced in January 2008, outlines procedures to ensure that we safeguard vulnerable adults from abuse, and deal with any allegations or instances of abuse appropriately.
It is an example of how other council departments work together to ensure that the policy objectives are achieved.
