Bury Social Care Network

On the 20th February 2008 the Bury Social Care Network Group was developed with assistance from Bury Adult Care Training Partnership representatives.

The first official meeting was on March 13th 2008 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm, following on from the Bury Adult Care Training Partnership Development Days at Seedfield.

The Bury Social Care Network are provider managers and proprietors across Older People's, Domiciliary, Mental Health and LDS Services.

The meeting will be chaired by Gary Newell from Care Assured and the Vice Chair will be Jacqueline Shippam from Hollybank Residential Home, this was voted by network members.

The chair and vice chair positions will be held for a six month period, and then this will go to vote again.

The network agreed that it would be appropriate that representatives of the Commissioning and Procurement Team attend the network group each alternate month starting in April 2008. Future invitations to identified representatives of multi agency groups will be extended where operational issues are raised.
