Bury Carers Centre, in partnership with Bury Social Services are compiling a shared Carers Register. This will contain the names, addresses and dates of birth of Carers and Cared for persons living in Bury. It will also record the nature of the illness or disability of the cared for person.
These will remain confidential and will be used only for the following Purposes:
- As a mailing list for services and activities available through the Carers Centre.
- As a means of informing you of services available for carers within Bury.
- As a means of keeping you informed of any new or changing Government legislation involving carers.
- To involve as many carers as possible in having a say in the way the local Bury Carers Strategy is progressing.
- As a means of obtaining as many carers’ points of view as possible on any carers issues in Bury.
- As a means of informing Social Services of services most important to carers so that new services can be better targeted.
