Bury Registered Contractor Scheme may be the answer to your home improvement and housing repairs dilemma.
Bury MBC Trading Standards have joined together with Age of Opportunites and in Spring 2008 will be providing the Bury Registered Contractor Scheme.
This is a voluntary registration scheme for tradesmen in the building and home improvement industry. As local councils are unable to recommend or approve individual traders, those that can demonstrate a commitment to providing a fair and honest service are eligible to join the scheme. Once they have satisfied the terms and conditions, the trader can display the schemes logo and be placed on a list held by the council and its partner agencies.
