What is it?
The Housebound Library Service brings the public library to the doorstep. Available to anyone who has difficulty visiting a library whether due to age, illness, disability or a caring commitment people can have a delivery of books, DVDs, CDs and talking books every three weeks. Housebound extra will enable a further 90 older people to receive the service. In addition the information provision side of the service will be improved and expanded.
