Welcome to Bury Adult Care Services' Information Circulars!

To support you to keep up to date with local and national directives; strategies; research; best practice; and legislation in the field of adult social care, your Policy and Improvement Team has devised a monthly Information Circular.

Each Information Circular will be colour coded into service areas for ease of reference, and will be divided into the following categories:

Events, Courses and Conferences.
Articles and Documents.
Useful Websites, Organisations, and Updates.

Please share any relevant information with your staff and colleagues, as appropriate.

If you wish to receive an email update, to inform you of when a new circular has been released, please email AdultCareWebsite@bury.gov.uk with your contact email address.
If you have information that you feel ought to be included in future circulars, please forward details to AdultCareWebsite@bury.gov.uk.

Note:
Adult Care Services Only: For any member of Adult Care Services wishing to attend the listed training courses, the course must meet the training priorities identified in your service plan. Funding for this training must be sought from your own departmental budget. Please inform Training and Development if you book a place on an external training course, so that this can be logged.

Adult Care Services and all providers: Please be aware that external training courses may not carry the accreditations required. If you are in any doubt, please contact your organisation's Training and Development Team for advice.
