Stakeholder Meeting
Tuesday 27th November 2007 saw the first stakeholder meeting for the LINks group in Bury. This event brought together the Council Steering Group (formed to lead on the National LINks project at a local level), private service providers and representatives from other organisations and voluntary groups from across the borough. The event proved productive in that each of the workshops on the day provoked discussion and ideas sharing and provided a very firm foundation from which LINks can further develop in Bury.
Following this meeting, a LINks Stakeholder Working Group was formed who will work closely with the Council Steering Group to ensure that LINks in Bury moves forwards in line with the National process.
