The physical disability and sensory impairment team also provides a service to meet the specific needs of people with a combined sight and hearing loss (Deafblind), e.g. in the areas of communication, mobility, adapted equipment etc.

Bury Metro Libraries have a hearing impairment service providing books, videos and equipment including a videophone.
They also run the monthly Buzz club for deaf and hard of hearing children age 10-16.
