Bury Leisure Play Scheme
If you are looking for ways to keep your children active and amused during the school holidays, Bury Leisure play schemes could be just what you are looking for.
Our holiday play schemes offer you the chance to leave your children in a fun, safe and friendly environment at a reasonable price. The supervised play and sports activities help children to develop their social, creative and physical skills.
Provided by qualified staff, the play schemes are suitable for children aged 4 to 12 years. They’re great fun for children and convenient for you. Places are available Monday to Friday and must be booked and paid for in advance.
Castle Leisure Centre (0161 253 6513)
Time: 8 am to 5.30 pm
Days:: Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays)
Age group: 4-12 years old.
Activities: Swimming, football, basketball, unihoc, arts/crafts, biscuit decorating and more.
Cost: £16 per day (£12 with leisure card)

Time: 9 am to 3.30 pm
Days: Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays)
Age group: 8-12 years old (must be able to swim).
Activities: Swimming, fun and games, football, rounders, cricket
Cost: £11 per day (£8.25 with leisure card)

Time: 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
Dayes: Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays)
Age group: 5-12 year years old
Activities: Basketball, football, kwik cricket, uni-hoc, fun and games, rounders and more.
Cost: Full day £13 (£9.75 with a leisure card), sessions (10 am to 12 Noon or 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm) £3.50

School holiday courses
Take the plunge - learn to dive
Diving courses running Monday to Friday every week during the school holidays. For children over 5 years old who can swim more than 50m. Cost is £21 for 5 days or £16.80 if there is a Bank Holiday. Participants swimming ability will be tested on the first day (terms and conditions apply).

Class 1 - 10.45am to 11.45am (for beginners)
Class 2 - 11.45am to 12.45am (for children who can dive from the side of the pool)
Have a go at snorkelling
Snorkelling courses will be running every week during the school holidays on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For children over 5 years old who can swim more than 100m. Participants swimming ability will be tested on the first day. Cost is £12.60 (terms and conditions apply).

A full week (5 days) £31.50 for over 5’s and £21 for under 5’s
