In the borough of Bury there are three household waste recycling centres. These sites provide the facility to recycle various items and dispose of un-recyclable materials.
Entrance barriers to household waste recycling centres
In recognition of users' views and the trend towards the use of higher vehicles the height of the entrance barriers has been raised from 5'9" (175 cm) to 6'1" (185.5 cm).
