The Planning Projects Section implements various policies and programmes set by the Council, particularly those identified in the Unitary Development Plan. These projects cover three main areas - Town Centre and Heritage Projects, Countryside and Wildlife Projects and Land Reclamation (see below for a detailed list of the work carried out by the Section). The Section has also published leaflets and booklets describing the improved sites and suggesting ways of enjoying them.
