The Bury UDP is divided in to fifteen chapters. The first three form the Part I of the plan - Background and General Policies. Chapters 4 to 13 contain the Part II of the plan - Detailed Policies and Proposals - by subject heading. The two remaining chapters deal with Implementation of the plan.
