Consultation Period
A report was taken to our Executive Committee on 10 January 2007 to approve draft SPD13 following a six week period of public consultation from 23 January 2007 to 6 March 2007.
Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)13 concerns houses in multiple occupation. The current Unitary Development Plan policy only sets out broad guidelines on how houses in multiple occupation should be developed. However, the policy alone is not considered sufficient enough to provide the level of detail needed to deal with the complex issues and problems often associated with multiple occupation and it is intended that the SPD will fill this gap.
