What does the Cultural Partnership do?

Members of the Bury Cultural Partnership act as advocates for the importance of cultural activity and development throughout Bury.  The Partnership has an active role within Team Bury (the Local Strategic Partnership) and seeks to establish and maintain a high profile for culture and the role of culture as a positive good in its own right.  The Cultural Partnership is also a key contributor to the Borough's wider ambitions and priorities. 

Aims of the Cultural Partnership

The partnership aims to:

  • enable more people of all ages to get involved in cultural activity;
  • improve access and information about cultural events, including the voluntary sector;
  • help develop a positive and innovative image for Bury.
