Through the Children and Young People's Network the Children's Trust communicates with and involves a broad based network of statutory, private, community and voluntary agencies. This takes the form of:
- Large events which are held every 4 months in order to inform, involve and consult with a wide range of stakeholders and provide a valuable networking opportunity in order to identify better ways of working together to improve outcomes.
- Information Sharing meetings which enable practitioners to look at services in more detail to identify common links and opportunities to work together. These use the outcomes based accountability planning format of moving from talk to action quickly, using plain language, ideas and common sense methods that everyone can participate in.
- A regular newsletter which is sent out to statutory, independent and voluntary agencies that provide services for children and young people and is placed on the Council website. The newsletter provides updates about Children’s Trust developments, information about inspections, training opportunities and events details, snapshots about services for children and young people and good practice that is taking place across the borough and other information that stakeholders wish to bring to the attention of a wider audience.

This is what people said about the most recent Network Event in July:
- It is the first time I have been to this event, thoroughly enjoyed it and found it very useful with great information and loved the workshops
- More of these networking events please
- Fantastic showcase of services, well presented, delivered and organised
- We’ve needed a coordination of services for years. So many services in Bury that agencies are not aware of resulting ultimately in failed responses/work with families
Don't miss your chance to be involved - we look forward to seeing you in November.
