Bury Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) was set up in November 2001 and through continuous and strengthening partnership working this has evolved into "Team Bury". Team Bury is an inclusive partnership body which brings together representatives from the voluntary, community, public and business sectors who work co-operatively to deliver the Ambitions for the borough.
The role of Team Bury is to improve the quality of life for local people. It does this by setting out a long term vision for the Borough through the Community Strategy and ensuring that this vision is achieved by drawing up clear, shared objectives. Tackling key issues for local people such as crime, jobs, health and housing, requires a range of local organisations working together. The more they can work together with local people, the more they can achieve. Team Bury works to co-ordinate the actions of organisations and partnerships across the Borough, so that services work better together and key issues are addressed.
