Funding

This external funding web site has been developed to provide information on new external funding opportunities for organisations from the community, voluntary, private and public sectors that operate in Bury. We are hoping that groups and individuals with projects that require funding will take full advantage of the service this site offers and that they use it in partnership to maximise and bring to Bury much needed resources.

Bury Futures fund

Bury Employment Group has been awarded funding from Bury Council’s budget for 2008/09 to contribute to the aims and aspirations contained within Team Bury's Employment Plan.

The main aim of the ‘Bury Futures’ fund is to support workless residents to access sustainable employment.

We are currently looking for an organisation who can deliver a programme of outreach and referral activity to support Bury residents into training and work. If your organisation can make a difference to workless people in Bury please read our project specification and apply using the application form.

For further information please contact Tracey Webb on 0161 253 6040.
