If you move home, you will stop being the person responsible for Council Tax for your old home and will become the person responsible at the new home. The Council Tax is worked out on a daily basis, so you should contact us straight away so your bill can be adjusted. This will ensure you pay the right amount and any overpayment can be transferred or refunded.
