Draft Values Prospectus
Bury was one of the 14 Community Cohesion Pathfinder authorities that received funding from the Government between February 2003 and April 2006. When the funding ended the Council undertook a review to determine the future direction of social and community cohesion work in the Borough.
A first priority is to identify a shared understanding of what we mean by the term 'community cohesion'.
We have looked at experience elsewhere and are proposing to take a similar approach to other authorities. We have therefore produced a draft Bury Values Prospectus - a statement of shared values to which all can adhere. We would like your views and comments on the draft document.
