The key elements of the Consultation Strategy are sharing opportunities for joint consultation, which reduces costs and duplication of effort, and sharing best practice.
We want to see that:
- The people of Bury are satisfied with the opportunities available to them to contribute to policy-making, service design and service improvement.
- We are sharing effort and resources effectively with each other and with our partners to gain best value from consultation activities, avoiding duplication of effort and an overload of consultation activity on certain groups in the community.
- Policies and services are improved to reflect the needs and aspirations of the people of Bury.
