Interpretation Service
If you would like to book an interpreter you will need to complete a standard booking form, these can be obtained from translation@bury.gov.uk and should be returned by email giving as much notice as possible.
Please note that our interpreters are not premitted to transport clients to appointments under any circumstances.
Translation Service
You can discuss the material to be translated and obtain advice for the appropriate languages and agree a time scale by contacting the Authority's Translator at BMTS.
Completed work will be returned to you by the agreed date.
Notice Required
5 working days' notice is generally required for interpretation. We are unable to guarantee the provision of an interpreter with less than 5 days notice.
Translation work usually takes 10 working days, although small jobs can be completed at short notice. Please note that during busy periods translation work can take slightly longer - so please allow as much time as possible.
