We are committed to providing a high quality service to all our customers including those whose first language is not English.
Communication plays a key role in understanding the customers' needs and responding to them in an appropriate manner. For those people whose first language is not English or who speak very little English, their access to services, facilities and other opportunities can be limited.
The Authority's Equal Opportunities Policy states that everyone living in the Borough should have equal access to the Council's services and employment.
Premier Language Service can assist in removing communications barriers by providing a comprehensive translation and interpretation service.
