The role of the Community Safety Team within Bury MBC is in the co-ordination and delivery of all aspects of Community Safety to ensure that the Council fulfils its statutory duties and responds effectively to the needs and concerns of the public.
The Community BurySafe Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership ( CDRP) supports the agencies of the Community Safety Partnership in their work together reduce crime, disorder and drug misuse.
The Team helps to develop policy and strategy and ensure action plans to achieve out targets are implemented.
