Introducing Bury Metro's Homeworking Project

 

The Bury MBC Homeworking Project was funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and was run by the the Council's Economic Development Unit.

Its aim was to help people in the Bury area to work from home - as an employee, as self employed or as a homeworking business.

We worked mainly with individuals who were seeking work they could do from home.

 

However, the project also supported individuals who needed advice on working from home (for example, on scams) and businesses who needed advice on employing homeworkers (for example, new legislation on flexible working).
