The forty acre site of the former East Lancs Paper Mill is currently on the market with planning approval for a mixed use development comprising employment, residential and education uses.
Residential use has been approved on the sites of the existing Radcliffe Riverside High School sites at Coney Green and School Street. These sites will be released as soon as the new high school premises at the paper mill are ready for use.
In the town centre the SUN (Sustainable Urban Neighbourhood) site is available for the development of a new bus station, new market, shops and apartments.
