Bury Business List
The Business List is a listing of over 6,000 businesses operating in the borough
of Bury.
To find a particular business you can search by using all or part of the
business name. Searching by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is another
option but not all business SIC information is available. You can also use the
A to Z search or by number of employees.
The Business List is available to order at a cost of £40. Purchasers should
call 0161 253 5314 to make credit card payments or send a cheque made out to
Bury MBC to Business List, 2/f Craig House, Bank Street, Bury BL9 0SW for an
e-mail copy in Excel or CSV format. We can with prior notice by calling 0161
253 5897 issue the list on a disk to purchasers who call in person at reception

In accordance with government policy Bury Council will eventually be introducing
a Single Business Account (SBA). This is a system that will give every business
in Bury a reference code and password, a system that will join up all of that
businesses transactions across Council service areas, deliver a one stop shop
for business dealings with the Council and give any business the capability to
track its transactions with the Council 24/7. As a first step in this process
we will soon be consolidating all of the data we hold on businesses in Bury,
that improved data will then form the basis for this business list.
