Payment of Business Rates
Business rate is payable in monthly instalments on the 1st of the month.
Available methods of payment
Please be aware:
Failure to pay on the first of each month may result in a reminder notice being issued to you requesting payment within 7 days and advising that future instalments should be made on time. If the instalment is not made within 7 days your right to pay by instalments is cancelled and the full outstanding balance becomes due within the next 7 days.
Failure to make payment in full may result in a summons being issued to you which incurs £95.00 costs.
Only 1 reminder is issued within a financial year. If you fall behind on a second occasion a Final Notice is issued requesting payment in full within 7 days.
